Making a valiant attempt to clean up on my online presence…just how many sites have I joined over the past hmm..decade? I’m like a social schizo. There really should be an easier way. Anyone else undertake this kind of project recently? Any tips beside trolling through Google and your old bookmarks?

Traversing through the Twitterverse, I stumbled upon this lovely community where you can now access my blog should you so choose.

And you should.

As the sun sets on another seemingly endless day, I find myself verging on the edge of a despair I can’t quite wrangle into submission. Every day, I tell myself, every day is a gift to be enjoyed, to be cherished… And yet reconciling wisdom with practice is a virtue I have yet to fully embrace. Evermore, however, I try. This effort; finding beauty in the forlorn, finding joy in the perfunctory, is one of many paths I walk to keep the proverbial demons at bay.

As of late I find myself moved by the beauty that others see in their world. And what a wonderful time we live in for such a desire; for your world and mine are preciously intertwined in the wonderful world of cyberspace. In a flick of the wrist and a few slights of hand; I am in Venice, Prague, Italy, the corner market… Through your eyes I experience the world in a million shades of glory. And suddenly, my world is brightened by your vision and that which hid from me previously shows it’s face, lips moving, eyes gleaming, spirits on fire.

I believe that when I can view the world around me and drink of it’s beauty, not despite, but in the face of it’s pain, I will forever be changed. And this is one of the streets I walk, looking up, down, behind me…for anything I may have missed.

I want to drink of your vision, to share my own; to inundate the world with so much beauty it has no other choice but to pause…and take it all in.
